A bill being sought in the Legislature by Wynn Resorts that critics argue would substantially weaken Nevada’s anti-SLAPP statute flew through the state Senate earlier this month and is now awaiting a hearing in the Assembly Judiciary Committee. Opponents, including media representatives, plan to make their opposition known at a Friday Assembly Judiciary Committee hearing on Senate Bill 444.
