Dan Gilbert may need to expand his gambling company to Las Vegas if he expects his casinos and racino in Ohio to succeed after their affiliation with Caesar’s Entertainment ends, one gaming expert said. David Schwartz, director of the Center for Gaming Research at the University of Nevada, said that acquiring a Las Vegas casino or forging an alliance with one would allow Gilbert’s Rock Gaming LLC to offer customers a more attractive rewards program.
