Nevada’s top gambling official struck back forcefully Friday at accusations by Boston-based DraftKings Inc. that his state banned daily fantasy sports contests because of pressure from the casino industry. The Nevada Gaming Control Board ruled Thursday that online cash prize games such as those offered by DraftKings and FanDuel Inc. of New York were essentially gambling, meaning the companies needed a license to operate there.
