Kentucky Lottery Corp. says new figures indicate lottery proceeds last fiscal year provided more than $196 million in scholarships and grants to more than 91,000 students statewide. The lottery says proceeds are used to fund the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship program, College Access Program grants and Kentucky Tuition Grants.
