NBA Eastern Conference Finals: Cavaliers cruise to 2-0 series lead against Raptors

The Cleveland Cavaliers seized a 2-0 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals with a 108-89 victory against the Toronto Raptors.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final wasn’t pretty for the Raptors and Drake, but they had revenge on their minds to even up the series in Game 2. Even with the better effort, Lebron James and Co. showed no signs of cooling off against the Toronto.

The defending Eastern Conference champions are still undefeated in the postseason, thanks to the Big Three of James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. James posted a triple-double 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, surpassing Shaquille O’Neal on the all-time playoff scoring list. Thursday night also marked his 15th career playoff triple-double and first this postseason.

“I admired what he was able to do out on the floor by pure force and dominance,” James told ESPN. “His ability to play at that speed, to have that size and to carry that type of force that he had.”
