Non-conformist EiG stages gaming’s first ‘F’ Session

Industry Disruptors and the ‘F’ Session, two of the more non-conformist sessions taking place at EiG, are grabbing the attention of delegates and dominating  discussions across media channels, ahead of EiG opening at Arena Berlin (30 October – 1 November).

The ‘F’ Session, a segment of EiG which is not recommended for the faint hearted or industry professionals who are in the slightest bit sensitive, will get underneath the finger nails of the business to explore what happens when things go wrong, the impact that mistakes have on innovation, what can be learned from negative business experiences and how they can help personal and organisational development.  Moderated by Russell Mifsud, Gaming Industry, Senior manager, KPMG, the ‘F’ Session will feature industry leaders Jan Teichmann, Head of Data Innovation, Rank Group; Rory Anderson, CEO, 12Bet; Nigel Birrel, CEO, Lottoland; Paul Barnes, former Managing Director, Intralot Germany and Paris Smith, CEO, Pinnacle Sports.

The NEO 2027 Theatre, one of three conference theatres at EiG, will put future industry disruptors under the spotlight, providing insight on potential growth opportunities.  Covering topical content and posing the contentious questions of the day, NEO 2027 will feature thought leaders including Ulrik Bengtsson, the former CEO, Betsson Group, who will explore Digital Transformation, Charles McGarraugh, CEO, Stratagem Technologies, who will be examining Artifical Intelligence and Erik Hellqvist, Head of Marketing at Wunderino who will be airing the Gamified vs Social debate against the backdrop of catering for Generation Z.  An outside industry perspective will be delivered by Aric Dromi, Digital Philosopher and Chief Futurologist at Volvo Car Group, whose subject matter is entitled, Overcoming barriers to innovation – Are we our own enemy?
