Sky Racing World Enters the Brazilian Market in Partnership with Codere

Partnership will see Tabcorp subsidiary providing Australian horse-racing simulcasting exclusively to Brazil via Codere-operated ADW and local tracks

Louisville, KY. December 2015 – Sky Racing World, a Louisville, Kentucky-based distributor of international horse-racing content to the Americas and subsidiary of leading Australian wagering operator Tabcorp, has announced a partnership with Codere, the Spanish multinational group and key player in the private gaming sectors of Europe and Latin America. With this new agreement, Sky Racing World will be providing wagering on Australian races exclusively to Brazil via Codere’s upcoming advance deposit wagering (ADW) brand Suaposta and various domestic tracks.

Founded in April 2014, Sky Racing World is the exclusive North and South American distributor of simulcasting on thoroughbred racing events in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. A subsidiary of Melbourne, Australia-headquartered wagering and entertainment group Tabcorp, Sky Racing World provides live video streaming on races in these three international markets to more than 70 US-facing ADW brands as well as 425 retail outlets in the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Following its partnership with Codere, Sky Racing World will provide live video streaming of Australian races to Suaposta, Codere’s ADW set to be launched in Q1 2016, and to various tracks operated by Codere’s partners, including the Jockey Club Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and the Rio de Janeiro-based Jockey Club Brasileiro. The companies’ content distribution agreement allows Suaposta customers and visitors to these tracks to wager online on over 8,000 races taking place each year in Australia. The distribution of New Zealand and South African races will be forthcoming later in 2016.
