South American poker news: Zeus wins WSOPC Brazil; WPT move to Argentina

A couple of stories from South America including a man named Zeus winning the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event in Brazil, and a fresh appearance in Argentina from the World Poker Tour.

Andrew “Zeus” Kuster is the newest World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) gold ring winner. The Brazilian used his lightning bolts to good effect, conquering a field of 939 players on his way to a R$550,000 ($175,000) haul.

The revamped partypoker LIVE model has been one of the success stories of 2017, but when it comes to the Latin American market, Mike Sexton and the crew has decided to be a pinball machine in the penny arcades belonging to the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The event that took place in the Bienal pavilion in Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paolo marked partypoker’s first foray into the Latin American market and judging by the numbers it has to go down as an overwhelming success.
