Vermantia signs retail content management deal with Lottomatica in Italy

Vermantia, leading provider of premium content for lotteries, gaming and betting operators worldwide, today announces that it has entered into an agreement with Lottomatica, the largest Italian gaming operator and member of IGT Group, to migrate its retail content management onto Vermantia RETAIL broadcast services and point-of-sale technology for its 1.000+ betting shops and corners. Further to this, Lottomatica will gain access to Vermantia CONNECT expansive content portfolio, specifically the Live Sports and Virtual Games Services.

Within the immediate rollout, Vermantia will broadcast and operate three bespoke gaming channels for Lottomatica’s retail network: a Live Sports Channel, combining more than 6,000 live sports events per year with real-time data and statistics in partnership with global leader Perform Group, and two Virtual Sports Channels, based on the existing partnership with Italian market leaders Inspired Gaming.

The initial phase, as well as any future channels, will be delivered to Lottomatica’s retail network via Vermantia POINT 4th generation decoder technology and the company’s satellite encryption and delivery solution.

Through this agreement, Lottomatica will be offered both innovative gaming content, as well as a scalable and flexible content distribution solution, guaranteeing the delivery of high quality products to its players.
